Technical issue for TeleBlend Service

I would like to sign-on with TeleBlend, however:

I understand Teleblend service: requires that I enable provisioning on my Gizmo; pushes an update which makes config changes; and changes the admin password. I also understand that TeleBlend is using equipment from Sunrocket.

I have the Innomedia Gizmo setup behind a Belkin Router (Modem>Router>Gizmo). Sometime during May 2007 Sunrocket pushed an update which switched me to a new SIP Server (Proxy) and my service became non-functional. Sunrocket support was unable resolve/restore the service after 5 calls and 2 days (I tried a new router and tried the Gizmo direct connect to modem) -therefore I disabled provisioning on the Gizmo, changed back to the original SIP Server and the service has worked perfect since.
From a knowledgeable (imo) forum member: "It appears that the new SIP Server (72.165.163.70) has associated media servers that don't support symmetric RTP, so it doesn't work with a non-NAT-aware gizmo behind a non-SIP-ALG router."

I fear I will then lose service completely again. I am reluctant to pay monies for a service which might not work and will disable my admin access to this Gizmo.

Wondering if they can address this issue, or if I should pay the $15, just to preserve my number for porting. ?

TIA

Re: Technical issue for TeleBlend Service

My advice would be to call up TB, and ask if they can use your device. I don't think I would pay the money and just hope.

They might work with you as well, and maybe ship you a new device. Like I said, call them, and see what's up.
