| Innomedia Incoming call pause issue
I am using the Innomedia from Sunrocket with Viatalk. Setup was easy and all seems to work well except on incoming calls there is a 2-3 second pause when you answer before you can hear the caller. This isn't a problem on outgoing calls. The persons calling me say they don't hear a pause. I am using thenewyork-2.vtnoc.net viatalk server and PCMU\8000 codec since G711 isn't available. Anyone else having this problem. What's the best codec to use since G711 isn't available. |

| I have Vonage and ViaTalk and am porting over to VT. My current Vonage number has always had that problem with my wireless phones. I think they search for the base for a second or two before connecting after you pick them up. My wired deskphone does not have that problem. I don't know if that is youe setup or not... |
