Re: refresh my physics Some equipment in this range will work up to 1.5 miles (depending on area based on rainfall) and deliver 1Gbps. A 60GHz signal is absorbed by oxygen limiting distance and interference. I've stood in front of these dishes before and haven't felt a thing.
