But the difference between Apples and PCs, is a vulnerability on an Apple, requires some sort of user intervention to exploit. Windows machines can be exploited with no user inervention at all. Looks like if you have ayour wifi connection open, they can get in as well. I guess you could say that takes user intervention, but so does plugging the network cable/enabling the wifi on your Wintel laptop.
