Re: [DW4000] Earthlink Software changes... EarthLink and Hughes must have figured out how to drive the old DW4000 modems onto the trash heap... EL will not upgrade a modem... they're solution is to terminate the existing service and avail yourself of a new modem via a complete new system...
When I re-ran Web Setup, my gateway had changed, although I'm still on G11/1410. I spoke with New Delhi, nothing is working reliably today and I don't have high hopes that they will have it back up and running by tomorrow, as promised.
Sounds like $299.98 is the price of staying in the game using HughesNet... Looking at the "Pro" plan. That is, if I can get a look at the Service Agreement to review (can't get it to download this morning). Too bad I didn't have a choice between Hughes and EL when I originally signed up back in 2001.
