Every feature NOT free

Actually, not every feature is free. You pay $.039/minute for forwarded calls with your rate plan.

Re: Every feature NOT free....NOT!

My calls are forwarded after so many seconds and I have never been charged. Perhaps your forwardee may found a way to charge you. What carrier receives those calls?

I have the unlimited plan so would not be charged the $.039/minute.

There have been multiple discussions on BBR about this over the years. It is VoicePulse's official policy (as stated in many places on their website) that the local plan charges $.039/minute for any forwarded call, including network unavailable forwarding. I've confirmed this in writing and by phone with VoicePulse.

That said, some folks appear not to be charged while others are. I don't understand the logic. If I did, I'd downgrade to the local plan.

I've done a number of keyword searches on BBR, trying to locate these multiple discussions of call forwarding charges but have been unable to. Perhaps you can help me out.

What keywords do you use to bring up the multiple discussions of VoicePulse call forwarding charges?

Thanks.

It's been awhile. Here are a few:

That was helpful. It appears you can get charged 3.9/ but you have to work at it.

You have to have the $15/200min plan.
The forwarded number has to be outside of your calling area, (which can be huge depending on your area code).
You have to have used up all 200 minutes before you get charged.
Calls forwarded due to an outage are not charged.

OK, so we're 99.99% free.

What scum Voicepulse is. I don't know how they sleep at night. I say we burn down New Jersey.

That is not the official policy. The official policy is that ALL forwarded calls are charged $.039/minute regardless of whether they are outside the local calling area or the 200 minute level. In those previous threads this was discussed ad nauseum. If it was as you described then I would get the $15 plan. I even called VoicePulse to ask and they confirmed what I wrote here. Their website confirms it too.

You might not incur such charges. Your situation then would not fit the official policy. If I switched to the $15 plan and was charged the forwarding fee I would have no basis to complain.

Well,

This all sounds serious to me. I still say we burn down New Jersey.

Who's with me!
