Doesn't matter how good or evil your company is, you always have someone willing to take a shot at the competition and say anything positive about their company to anyone that will write it or listen.
I worked for a company that did the same thing, their main competition went out of business when Y2K came around and their software failed. But the company representative make news reports and anything else about how our company "put them out of business" when really it had nothing to do with it.
Unless you are a business owner with only yourself as the employee, you can't control everything everyone says while representing your company. It's just a matter of looking past the corp BS and talking to those that use the service to get an idea of how good or bad it is. |
