 Setup Innomedia Router to Use Gizmo Project + Grand Central

Start by reading this link:
»sunrocketrecovery.blogspot.com/

Go here to get the Innomedia Administrators Manual:
»www.innomedia.com/support_manuals.shtml

Required Port Info For Gizmo Project:
»support.gizmoproject.com/index.p···ls&_i=88

Login to the router and make the following changes:
Innomedia MTA6328-2Re Settings:
VOIP -> SIP Proxy
SIP PROXY: 198.65.166.131
Use Outbound Proxy - Unchecked
SIP Local Signaling Port: 5060
SIP Domain: proxy01.sipphone.com
Registration Expiration Time (sec): 60
Preferred CODECs List: PCMU/8000, PCMA/8000, G729A/8000

VOIP -> User Account
Line No. 1
User ID: 1747XXXXXXX This is your Gizmo Project SIP Ph #
User Password: XXXXX This is your password to login to Gizmo Project - MUST BE ALL NUMERIC!!
User Name: John Doe
Authentication ID: 1747XXXXXXX This is your Gizmo Project SIP PH #
User Hot Phone: No
Hot Phone Number: Leave This Blank
Enable T38 FAX: No

The following setting must be done via telnet:
Set your RTP Port to 5004 - See Page 42 in the Admin Manual
Set your Prefix Digit Parameter to your local area code to allow for 7 digit local dialing - See Page 69 in Admin Manual

You don't need to worry about the STUN Server setting if your Gizmo is directly after the Modem. If you do need it
it's configurable via telnet and the manual can tell you how to do it.

I did all of the above, purchased call out minutes and a call in number from Gizmo Project for $22.
I bought a Grand Central Invitation on Ebay for $1.39 and I'm fully functioning with both call out
and call in capability with no additional cost to me for the next 3 months.

Thanks OP.

I've followed other instructions and I've been struggling with this type of setup for couple days without success.

However, just in 10 mins reading your post I got it working beautifully

Now my phone is back working

Did you ever try calling out using your phone? When I make an outgoing call, I can hear the person on the other side. Everything else works fine. I didn't configure the specifics though.

  Yes, my line is working perfectly. I can make outgoing calls from my telephone and hear the other side just fine. One other point to note. I completely turned off my Gizmo Project PC client. If you don't, when you receive incoming calls and answer with the phone, the PC client will just continue ringing. Apparently there's no feedbck loop from GP to let the client know the incoming call has been answered somewhere else.

You have only 25 cents in your gizmoproject account when you open it. So if you've tested few times then now the balance maybe 0 . You can't call out any more. You got to buy more call out minutes from gizmoproject or you got to use GrandCentral "Callme" feature. Using this feature GrandCentral will call your home phone and call other end then connect you guys together
