I'm sold. This is what I have been waiting for.
The Scrotorola 3416 is a steaming pile of nothing. Slow response, forgets about my recorded programs, freezes, no To Do list, remote is a confusing disaster, who needs that crap?
My Series 2 never freezes, never forgets what I have recorded, never hesitates in responding to the remote, and can be accessed over the web to schedule recordings and view what is on Now Playing. Hundreds of times better.
Out with Bloatarola and in with the Cadillac of DVRs - now at a reasonable price.
As far as the monthly fee, I am already paying Comcast $12 per month so I will cancel that confusing i-Guide and replace it with $8/month outstanding TiVo guide. You also get 3 years warranty on parts if you take the 3 years/$299 subscription.
