In the manual it says if I have another router to put the Linksys behind the other router.
Didn't want to put in front, in case it may damage my wireless router. Would I need a straight through cable connecting two routers?
I am getting a login page with the 15.100 address, but it may require a higher level username and password, so hence my request as none of the usernames and passwords above don't work.
Thanks for the suggestion though. |

| reply to bngdup Wait, I just realized what you are doing. Ok you are trying to access the RTP300 from it's WAN IP. I doubt this is enabled by default. So to get in the first time you may have to find yourself an ethernet cable or place the RTP300 in front of your wireless router just so you have a route to the LAN ports of that device. If all else fails the reset is never a bad option. |

| reply to eosirl2 You should be able to login with admin admin. But obviously thats not working. Now the normal website to login is 192.168.15.1 not .100 Either way you should be able to get back in if you hold in the reset button in the back for about 15 seconds w/ a paperclip. Once it reboots go to 192.168.15.1 and try admin admin. If that does not work you may have to contact tech support for help in accessing your box. |
