I've never understood why people goto the office to pay the bill...why dont you mail it? How bout online? I agree the fee is lame, but its very easily avoided.

Yes, I use BillPay thru my bank to pay about 90% of my bills. It takes all of 1 min to pay Comcast online and it doesn't even cost me a stamp.
