YES must have a filter of the DTV box!!!!.. only connection unfiltered on a DSL phone line is the modem ... otherwise the DSL signal will get attenuated and cause issues |

He doesn't need a filter on the DTV. If I understand him correctly. The DTV unit is plugged into the ata with the phone via a splitter. It is separate from the dls line. I think he only has his modem plugged into the dsl line.

I am bit confused be the statement
"thats the only thing hooked up to the "house" is the phone cord to the ata"
You don't have your ata also connected directly to the house wiring with the dsl. That would be bad. |

That is correct. I have nothing plugged into my homewiring, except my modem. |
