| Using Tracfone as "net downtime" call foreward, have ?s
I just set this up Friday and tested it over at my Moms house (I shut off my cable modem before going over, so my Vonage would be offline)
I dial my Vonage number and sure enough it rang to my cell phone since the Vonage Adaptor was down.
My issue is this, I got a Motorola C261 and it seems to have CRAPPY signal inside. Outside its 3-4bars. Inside my apartment its around 1 bar and a lot of times it cycles to NO SERVICE then back.
Here is my question: Has anyone here used one of those antenna boosters, the kind that are sticky on one side and you put them under the battery? Just looking for something to get a signal boost so this setup will be perfect (mainly want it so if my Internet goes down in the middle of the night, I can still get emergency calls)
This is still cheaper than a landline phone OR MediaCom Phone. I can get a 1 year card for this TracPhone with 400 mins for around $80. Just need sometghing for those rare (hehe) times my MCHSI is down. |

| DIY123,
I've seen more than one of your posts that is childish and unnecessarily critical and in a personal sort of way too. I searched for your anonymous ID and found 4 of 8 of your posts were deleted by moderator, probably for for going over the line. You don't add value. Please go away or grow up. |
