Anon, I'll have a discussion about composition with you. You go first. Say whatever and use your own work or mine for that matter. Comp is comp. -- Some people collect roses. Others, thorns. |

| reply to AnonProxy For me there are three folders for photographers, with several sub-folders.
Those who subliminally know where to stand, compose, and click, with the proper camera setting.
Those who take a mem card full of snapshots and sort through them to pick out the ones they like.
Those who read all the books and listen to all the advice and follow all the rules.
Each of these work. You do what you can with what you have. Most of the masters fall into the first category with their God-given talents. The rest of us have to practice, practice, practice. --

AnonProxy Proxy of Anon Premium join:2001-05-12 ß | reply to Kalford I guess I am talking more about composition via deconstruction of a study...which there isn't any of.
I also see not composition via griding.
Thanks though. |

| I notice there's a good bit of post production discussions, infact a whole series of artify threads...but are there specific composition / composition mapping threads? Either where a picture is gridded out and grid shifting is discussed to better "frame" the picture or where post is used to show how different exposures would work with a base photo? Thanks |
