Oh no, I did get doubled at no charge. I went from 8/1whatever it was to 16/2 (and like I said I'm more or less already getting 20/2...more like 20/6 actually)

If you want to go 20/2 it's $10 more a month.
Nah, I am good with 16/2, just not sure if I have been upgraded yet. Perhaps I have since the site shows that now. I will call tonight to confirm

Yeah mind you it is $10 more a month of course, and since I just signed up for CDV I'm not going to bother right now. I'm pretty happy with my current speeds (which are pretty much 20/2 anyways).
Hmmm, I have the 8/2, I thought they were doubling the speeds at no charge? Maybe I am wrong?

Just noticed if you go to the main Comcast site and look for what to sign up for, Blast! is now available to me (and I assume most if not all of Fort Lauderdale/Miami at this point).

Confirmed with a CCR over the phone that it is indeed available to me at $10 more a month for the 20/2 tier.
Is this what you are seeing? That's what I see when I look up my address. If so, how can I verify if I have the new package? I was currently on the 8/2 and I have an RCA modem which is pretty limited in what it offers.

Performance PLUS

Get download speeds up to 16 Mbps and uploads up to 2 Mbps with PowerBoost® for only $29.99 a month for 6 months!
o Super fast speeds so you can download music, movies and games and upload photos in a flash.
o McAfee® Security Suite ($120 value).
o SmartZone® Communications Center with 7 e-mail accounts, each with 10GB of storage.
o ESPN360.com on Comcast.net.

This special price is for customers who currently subscribe to Comcast Cable or Comcast Digital Voice® service.

I chatted with Comcast today:

Lydia > You're under a promotion, right?

Landon > Yes... I will be

Lydia > Okay.

Lydia > Upgrades can be processed right after the promotion.

She basically said that I will be stuck on Comcast Performance Plus for an entire year, even though there is Blast! here. My promotion hasn't even started yet. WTF!

By the way... this is Utah if that matters.

16/2 and 12/2 Tiers Available in Miami, FL -Kendall/Country Walk

It seems like we've gotten the new speeds in Miami, FL (Kendall and Country Walk areas).

Downloads are sustained at over 1MB/sec with bursts up to 2.5MB/sec.

I will post screenshots later.

As in the next few weeks. Sacramento is a much larger beast to tackle than Davis. You're talking about a site that has over 30 CMTS compared to Davis which had about 5 I think.

The good news is that the upgrades in your area have begun so it shouldn't be long before you'll be enjoying channel bonding. If you're an impatient person though I could see how a few more weeks might be agony
How about Mendocino County? We'd like some DOCSIS 3.0 too
