Weird "blank face icon" next to logo

Moused over it and that is what popped up (mouse cursor not in picture).

No, you weren't the only one. It was doing it for me too hence the reason I started this thread. I would click it but nothing would happen. Today I can enter text.

 I'm guessing it's an "away status" notice for your buddies to see. I'd try it out, but am too chicken , wondering about message persistence, and wondering how to remove/change it once entered.

London, ON		 Maybe you use it if you want to send the same message to all of your buddies at the same time? Once you click on the dots a box opens up that allows you to type a message in it.

 Here's what I've been able to figure out/find out. Enter text into the box, this briefly displays on the "Buddy Line" for your buddies to see, and also appears on your user page under a heading of "What were you doing."

Both the info on the buddy line and the info on your user page is only visible to buddies.

To change what you're "doing" simply click on the interface again. To remove any info delete and leave blank.

you don't have to entertain them. What about a link to a crazy site you've just discovered.. or do what the mods have been doing with it for two weeks, and just write stuff like this (giveaway messages have been removed):

Click on the text again and it should open the editing box. Save it with no text (that's what I did).

It doesn't show an infinite list, so newer entries push it down and then it rolls off.

justin See Profile, I killed mine. Really I did. I was adding a website address using a href and hit the OK button before I was done adding the link and now it shows up as 'blank' and no longer can I click in the area next to the BBR logo.

I don't fell this is really practical. There should be away for us to manually remove these.

 This doesn't work on Opera 9 or SuiteMonkey 2.0. I see the dots but they are not clickable. I have java script enabled. I got it to work on Fx only after I visited my profile. I have no idea why doing that would make it work on Fx. It worked on IE from the get-go. That is the only browser it works on properly (for me) without having to do something like going to the profile page first on Fx. If I try to click on the dots in Opera, that just causes the page load time in the status bar to refresh.

I'll confirm the opera findings...Just checked with version 9.10 and I can see the remark I entered, but it's not clickable/changable. If I clear the entry out, the two dots appear, but with the same results.
