In general, the best external indicator for you of getting FIOS TV in an area will be the announcement of a VHO. VZ has to get the zoning permits, build it, staff it, and connect it; and that will not happen in total secrecy. Plus, VZ likes to make a press release when they decide to bring TV to a metro area. |

Has Verizon annouced the building of a VHO for other areas? I don't remember seeing any. Also, is the VHO in Syracuse going to require the construction of a new building, or just a "room" in an existing building? |

No discussions planned for the Town of Brookhaven for the remainder of 2007. Verizon is too busy with all their other discussions and the BS that they have to deal with from Cablevision. Go onto Islip.TV and get a load of the lawyers talking at the Town of Islip hearing. |
