I have the triple play. Last month when the discount was not on the bill I called billing. They gave me credit for the triple play and adjusted the amount due. Also said that they fixed it so it would not happen again. This month the triple play discount was not in the bill. I called again and they gave me the discount and said they would fix the problem. Will see next month.

I got FIOS triple play a few weeks ago. I emailed customer service and complained about the bill amount. I received a return email the next day, and was told that a "triple play" credit would be applied to my account very soon. This credit appeared a couple of days later when I logged in to "my account" online.

If you're unlucky like some of us, be prepared to call in and ask for your monthly credit. I've been trying to get the "triple play" properly applied to my account for a few months now. When I received my bill earlier this month, my bill was much higher than expected (discount missing, again) - called the billing department and a representative put in an order.

I called the billing department yesterday while stuck in traffic about a separate issue - on a whim, I asked whether or not the order that I had placed for the triple play pricing had gone through. (It didn't.) This is the second or third time that an order to apply the has gotten lost not gone through.

The representative said she would manually apply $27 worth of credit to next month's bill and that I should see it kick in within 1-2 billing cycles. I'm fully expecting that it won't go through again and I'll have to repeat this process in a few weeks.

Strangely enough, they were able to move my wireless over relatively easily compared to this.

Well, I am the unlucky one. I signed up for FIOS in July, and just got my second bill. Sure enough, the $10 discount for FIOS (month 2 - month 7) is missing. Holding on the phone right now.

This got to be a joke.

The first bill came after ordering the triple play package and the total was $259.87 for a full and partial month. No package discount was applied for anything. Is it worth calling? Their billing line says it may take up to 2 months to see the discount applied.

I guess it cuts both ways. I had FIOS internet installed in July 2006. Because I do not have a Verizon land line, they said it would have to be billed to a credit card. No problem.

Verizon didn't get around to billing my credit card until November 2006. Never billed any back charges. Nearly five months of free service. Thank you Verizon for having such a screwed up billing system.

n.b. It not my personal ethic to receive service without paying for it. However, I do not relish trying to get through to the billing department and trying to explain this.

Also, the primary reason I will NOT order FIOS TV is the frequent billing hassles that others are reporting here and the fact that I doubt I would ever see a hard-copy statement (have never seen one for FIOS internet), much less one that is correct.

Here's kind of a problem that I haven't seen posted and was wondering if anyone knew how to get around. When I signed up for Fios I signed up to have it billed to my credit card. Suddenly, my Verizon paper bills stopped. Now that I'm having the same billing issues many are having here (no bundled discount, etc), I called Verizon. The CSR was pretty helpful and got me some credits, but the same old charges are still showing up on my bill online. And the Freedom package is not listed anywhere.
To which the CSR responds, "It's on page 3 of your bill." Of course, there is not Page 3 of my bill, because I don't get a paper bill.

I have asked Verizon to change this in the past but they say it is not possible with their system. Is this BS or is this true? If it's BS how do I get my paper bill back?

I got two phone calls within minutes of sending the email. Only one auto response that stated the guy was retired and gave a new name and email for the person that took over. Thanks for the link!

wow, i thought i was the only one having such problems!

I returned a HD DVR (had two of them in the house) in May. Since then I have been billed every month for it. I've called every month to get the problem corrected.

I also canceled HBO in Aug of 06. May of 06 rolls around and I find out I'm still being billed for it. I was an early adopter and on credit card billing only with no paper bill. Once I requested a normal bill I found out what had been going on.

It took me asking for a manager (who was very nice once i got to her) at the call center to get it squared away. She gave me a credit for the HBO and the DVR charges, however, she said the problem is in the billing software they use. She stated she would have to manually credit my account next month for the DVR and would call me to let me know it had been done.

I was thinking of a TiVo Series 3, but that would require returning another DVR and having to call every month on that too!

Never mind! I called today got 3 months on the house. All I have to pay for is VOD and Movie Channels...
Let's see what next month brings us.. Maybe I can score a new Car ???

Ok ready?Had 20-5 internet connect.Signed up online for 99.95 tv triple play that was now available in rhode island.I clicked on triple ad and it sent me to pages to ask want i want.Signed up for 2 year deal internet with Freedom Essentials then it sent me to another page for tv.On this page it offer 3 free months of the movie package for signing up on line.It also said 5.00 off movie package or off boxes.So i took box deal an thought i had movie package.
Couple days later i get call on answer machine.It asks how i like new fios service. So i called them to tell them i havent been hooked up yet for the added services yet an she tells me it is a computer generated service.So said to her out of concerns that i wasnt getting billed for new services yet and she said no.We started to talk about how i signed up for triple play and she says your not signed up for triple and uyou will get full bill on all services seperate.She said i wasnt signed up for best deal.So she fixed it and said i would get triple 5 bucks off a box and 3 month of movie but i didnt want movie after 3 months to cancel it. Well the bill came an i wasnt signed up for triple.Custormer service did like what i had to say.I asked for manager an had to wait 20 minutes while i was trying to call them on my cell phone to get a second line thru.Any ways the manager came on the line and sound very aggrivated probably from all the calls..He put me on triple play deal but said i couldnt have movies or 5 bucks off box.I said thats what i was offered an lady months ago said i would have and he said in cant.He finnaly gave me a 2 month deal on movies.OK got my next bill.Was being billed for call fowarding so i called the an they said it was because i was being billed seperate at first for Freedom Essentials..They gave me 9 dollar credit and would take it off.Guess what was on this months bill 4.50 for call fowarding.???????Can t i go to small claims court for all my time on phone and money back when they charge me 100 bucks for early termination.I've about had it an dont have time to keep calling them..

Als o i notice they charge 42.99 on internet part of bill for 5/2 service that is availbe for 39.99 so if i cancel tv an phone i will probaly billed 42.99 instead of 39.99.What are they doing?????????????

Just got my bill... 202.94 for triple play.. this has been going on since march.. Now i have to waste 2hrs of my work day trying to straight this garbage out.. Yaco what did you tell them to get 3 months service for free...I'm sooooo close to telling them come pick up all there sh#$.

I have the same issues with the rebate for the double-play budle not being applied. This is a rip-off - I have call five times so far and only received 29 bucks as credit and several promises that it will be fixed asap. This month I received three separate bills started went from 100 to 300 and today the service has been disconnected. I have had it with these jokers. Its time to get the states sue Verizon for fraud and misleading business practices!!!

I wonder how many of the people with billing issues get actual bills and how many are on the forced credit card payment? I'm on the forced credit card payment and I think my bills have always been correct. I wonder if they make sure these bills are correct because of the threat of charge backs and just let the others go to see who pays what.
