The article says that the initial planes will be "transcontinental" ones so....... The pic also indicates that the box would be connected to a sat. dish... Cool stuff either way. Latency should be pretty decent if it's going straight to land based towers, but if they jump to a sat. beam, that latency would instantly be much higher.
