Charter here won't even build out internet. I have one option: AT&T, because Charter has exclusivity over our market area for cable, and refuse to build out internet. At all.

| I am in the same boat Charter is only offering "digital cable" in Benton no frills or anything else. Bad thing is AT&T does not have DSL throughout the town or even close to the whole town. And Horizon Wireless is a huge freaking rip off. I wont use a service that makes me pay full price for equipment and lock me in for a year with the cancellation charge being the entire remaining portion of my contract. 60 dollars a month for 512k internet with a really low monthly cap like 10 gig if I remember right it might have been 5 gig would have to go back and look again.

| Indeed. I've seen several people in benton that cannot get broadband. ATT DSL isn't everywhere. And charter won't build out, so, a lot of people in benton have to do without. Benton is a 20 minute drive from the capitol, and it and bryant are quite large. |
