[Availability] [Order} AT&T lost my DSL order!!!

Service Number: 415-661-xxxx

We have placed an order of AT&T Yahoo DSL Express on 7/31/2007. The order process was entirely completed over the phone and the activation date is today, August 3, 2007. Unfortunately, the DSL is still not working at the moment, and upon calling technical support, we were told over the phone system that our phone line do not have AT&T Yahoo DSL service at all!!! We were then transferred from technical support to customer service at around 9:00 AM. The call was rudely received and she refused to answer the status of my existing order and told me that I would need to wait until August 7, 2007 to have DSL turned on. When I pressed on the status of my existing order, I got redirected to the phone system again. We've then called again and nobody pick up the phone for over 2 hours of waiting time. What kind of service is this? How could our order be lost completely in the thin air?

billcpl See Profile, welcome to the AT&T West forum. I edited your telephone number since this is a public forum. I see you already have a thread in the AT&T Direct forum where it is ok to post such information, since it is a private forum where only the AT&T techs have access. Perhaps they will be able to figure out what has happened with your order.
