Vonage is sending their's next day so now I just need my number ported.  Packet8 just can't ramp up to meet the demand, I guess.  Maybe I'll try them next year.]]></description>

One I ported to Vonage with little problem.<br><br>The other I ported to Packet8, also with little problem.<br><br>The Packet8 LNP (local number portability) transfer has not taken place. The Vonage LNP, done a few days earlier went smoothly.<br><br>I tried to move both numbers to Vonage at the same time, but the sales person could not handle it complexity. So, I am trying the Packet8 for the second line. The Packet8 equipment is very nice, a cordless phone with the VOIP works in the phone base (Uniden).<br><br>It has been relatively hassle free, but I have had to keep up with a lot of details.<br><br>I recently paid for both lines at $199 per line from Sunrocket. I am trying to get my money back with the help of my credit card company. It will take a few weeks, but hopefully I will get a refund for the 10 months that were not used.]]></description>
