 | Problem fixed by Comcast in less than a day »consumerist.com/consumer/complai···6023.php
This tech, Yoseph, was very polite, entertained all our questions with convincing, competent answers- even threw the ball for my dog a few times.
Yoseph spliced the wires back together, told us it would last until our own ISP guys could put it right for good (Covad is scheduled for friday morning).
So, the tubes are no longer clogged with horses and poker-chips. We're back up and running like before. I wish they would solve my problems that quickly. -- -- Internet News My BLOG My Web Page |

Only by luck did he happen across two Comcast sales guys who made a few calls to get a tech out to temporarily fix the issue. -- Macintosh Users Group Serving the Inland Empire |

Combat ChuckToo Many CannibalsPremium join:2001-11-29 Erie, PA | Lets just understand tho, this is an industry wide problem. No one wants to touch the others lines, and they pretty much assume that no one does, so when the lines do get screwed up you're kinda left sitting in the middle.
I have Comcast digital phone but the old Verizon line was still attached to my house. One day a garbage truck hits the old Verizon line leaving half of it laying in my yard and the other half dangling in the middle of the street. I call Verizon and they say I'm not a customer and to call Comcast, I call Comcast and they say it's not their line so they don't want to touch it. Meanwhile there's a Verizon line dangling in the middle of the street waiting to get snagged by a car ripping both companies equipment off the pole. -- Mooooooo!!! |
