Our Windstream Line Monitor Group has been started by fourboxers :

To get your line monitoring started, go here to set it up: »/schedule/signup/0

There is no need for third party software - if your IP changes, you can always edit your monitor to reflect the new IP.

You just need to do 2 things:

1) enter IP in the static IP box AND 2) check the "dynamic" box. You must do both.

You should also add your location in the Public Comment area of your monitor.

Make sure your router accepts WAN requests. Make sure you are pingable.

Make sure you also go to »/prefs/flair and select "My home connection" and enter the info there. It will appear by your graph so that others will know what service, etc you have.

When you have your monitor all set up and working, post here asking for an invite to the group. Make sure you are logged into the site to get the invite. Click on the invite, then click on the link in the invite and accept.

A link to the Group will be has been added to our forum links on our forum's main page.

Now, who wants to go first to see if it works?

Just a note line monitors are private unless you're in a group so I can't see if it's working from the links.

Not sure who programs, etc, but just an idea suggestion, ie Pig thought. One the Tools History page the Navigation buttons are only at the top of the page. So as you scroll down the page looking at everyone, you then have to go back to the top to jump to page two. I know, how lazy can you get!
