I have the 8mb package... it rocks. As typical "Internet" use does not include large movie sized files/continuous P2P it is understandable why Comcast would use Powerboost as it is designed. It has a definite advantage for 95% of their users. Only power users ever really complain about it...

| Powerboost helps 100% of the people 100% of the time... its fact!
As for my 95% claim... it is probably more like 99% since 1% is the number of people Comcast has labeled as problem powerusers. And they are the only ones that complain about powerboost, right! -- »www.memphispcguy.com |

| reply to data129 Wow.. when does having an opinion that doesn't "bash" comcast make one a "comcast rear kisser"... that just seems like more of an immature answer.
If you dispute the 95%, why don't you contribute your rebuttal and post some opposing facts instead of name calling.
If someone doesn't like powerboot, simply call up and ask them to remove the pb from your modem.
Sydeburnz is correct that 100% of the people see benefit from powerboost kicking in. Dispute that! -- "Complaining is the least path of resistance for the self-serving, the lazy, and Im told its a womans prerogative..." |
