| SunRocket finally died...
I have been forwarding my calls to my new ViaTalk number for the past two weeks, and it's been working great. Finally stopped working today, just a little while ago. I guess it's finally over. Hope VT gets my number ported over pretty quick so I don't miss too many calls, since nobody has my VT number.

Reading, PA | Same here. I get a busy tone. However, I still can log into SR's site and my forwarded VT number still comes up.
I sent my port request to VT on July 25th. |

Me too - busy tone - well, more like an out of service tone. I too submitted my port on the 25th, so I hope it will be soon.

Outbound works fine. Inbound is dead. When I dialed my home phone, it didn't ring at all. It got disconnected immediately. |

*phew* I got in under the radar. Submitted my port to VT on 17 july, had it done on the 30th.
as an added bonus, i got an email yesterday that they tacked on an extra year to my contract since that was the active deal at the time  w00t

I don't know with all the TeleBlend and Global Crossing problems being reported I would not be surprised once these are fixed SR inbound starts working again. |

1 edit | My take on the incoming call loss is this... Unplug them all. Add back the ones that have paid. Sorta like pulling out needles in a haystack. If they have 50,000 customers, it may take awhile. And SR customers who havent paid the ransom wont get their incoming back.
TB/Sherwood wont unplug the outgoing side just yet for 911 liability. They hope if people dont get incoming calls or cant get incoming calls that the customer will call in to find out why. Then, BINGO TB just caught another one!
Smart? So smart.

Apparently, they did not pay their bill to Global Crossing or perhaps GC insisted the bastards pay all moneies owed, including SR's debts to GC.
LOL.
Idiots.
At least I can still make calls out no problem. |

Hey, when I called TB and finally got a hold of a network tech, they told me that I should find another provider. This was after the reporting that TB didn't think they would be spending the $ to fix the incoming on Choice One DIDs.
YES, there is some integrity in the building!

Simple forwarding working for 3 numbers not ported anywhere, and not signed on with TB.
My TB line has always worked no problem.

Never heard this before reading to your post here vlover.
What are TB's options if they DON'T pay Choice One???? 
Over here in So Cal (Verizon world) TB is working very well. Incoming/Outgoing working flawlessly.
