 | Packet 8 and TeleBlend I can't win...I wanted to go to AT&T CallVantage, but they said they couldn't port numbers from SunRocket (even though it was an original AT&T number that I took to SunRocket). So I signed up with Packet8 the first night they were announced, because they were offering the quickest changeover. The next morning, TeleBlend was actually keeping the existing service active (so they said), so I signed up with them, and cancelled Packet8. My phone and all features kept working. A week later, Packet8 ported my number anyway, and I lost all my incoming calls. So since they had my number, I signed back up with them, and they promised to overnight my device. Six days (and four 2-hour phone calls later), they overnighted it. Worked great for a week - then yesterday at 5:30 pm, my number was ported back to SunRocket (all the calls show up on my old account there) or maybe it's to TeleBlend - who apparently have no clue what they're doing. So I've lost all my incoming calls again!!! Now I guerss I'll have to wait for Packet8 to port it back again.....(this sad story to be continued...I'm sure!!!) |
