 | TeleBlend Official Statement on Service Disruption TeleBlend Official Statement on Service Disruption
BUSINESS WIRE Posted: 2007-08-08 16:30:29
OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)----TeleBlend, a nationwide provider of broadband phone service, experienced a disruption of service for part of its customer base earlier this week. During the service disruption, the company inadvertently made public statements that incorrectly implied the outage was due to an issue with Global Crossing's network. TeleBlend would like to state definitively that the cause of the service disruption was in no way, shape or form due to any issue or outage with Global Crossing's network, which continues to serve customers with industry-leading performance and 99.999 percent service reliability.
We would also like to take this opportunity to let customers know we appreciate their patience during our service disruption and apologize for the inconvenience it has caused to their communications. By addressing and rectifying the cause of the service disruption we look forward to continuing to provide reliable broadband phone service that meets and exceeds customer expectations in the coming years.

 | Teleblend just needs to pay the bills instead of blaming Global Crossing. Now Global Crossing is going to sue them out of existance for slander. Enjoy your Teleblend while it lasts. --

Maybe they'll spend that money on lawyers to teach them what they can and can't do in the United States. |

| reply to SouthernMan Hehe Teleblend is getting what it deserves, I had a feeling it wasn't global crossings fault. And I guess GC found out Teleblend was putting blame on them and told them to stop. I forecast a lawsuit -- I get 29 MPG in my Toyota Highlander Hybrid! |

What other POSSIBLE explanation is there? Every GC customer could not receive calls, while level 3 ect were fine. Global crossing was up, the article just confirmed it. Why would they blame GC and then take it back?
Let me know if you have another theory... |

If your statement was a theory then you should not have said, "We knew they didn't pay GC"
In my opinion, these type of inaccurate statements affect the credibility and the integrity of the forum.

Cogdis join:2007-03-26 Floral Park, NY | I'm sorry, that was a little misleading.
It's like the theory of evolution. It's not a fact (yet) but its pretty obvious.
It was a poor choice of words, but I said we "knew it" because many of us that looked at the symptoms knew that GC had no problems even prior to the article.
We knew that the only explanation was that TB was trying not to pay. |

 | reply to SouthernMan So how long until Teleblend pulls the plug? After this whole fiasco I don't think they will have many of the original sign ups sticking around. --

The service is just getting off the ground and some bumps are bound to occur. This Just In from TWWN ( TeleTubby World Wide News ) The "plane" was in the maintenance hanger down for the count with hoards airworthiness violations but VC's said screw the regulations and fly the pig anyways as the violations were against the "OLD company". When the tug came to pull the plane out of the hanger, the brakes were locked and started the fire so no flight that day until the bill were paid to get the plane OK to fly.
TWWN also reports passengers happily paid 15.99 to get new tickets for tomorrows promised maiden flight ... Updates at 11 |

 | reply to SouthernMan Isn't Teleblend the same company as SunRocket? Their phone number is different by only 1 digit from the old SunRocket VoIP provider.
After getting burned by SunRocket myself, I'm not surprised by any misinformation this company (whatever they call themselves now) puts out. I'm doubt if many customers will stick around with these folks: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!" Thanks again to MasterCard for refunding the funds of swindled SunRocket subscribers. You guys rock! |

To me, both the SR and VT sub-forums really smell like Hobbes' "natural man." -- "Teleblend has an agreement with the Assignee to solicit and support former SunRocket customers." |
