(or shut up and don't sing, whatever).

Seriously, if Bush did that, that one be one initiative of the administration that I wouldn't think twice about getting onboard with... -- Prove it... Save the Internet Time (NTP) service, use the pool.

A thousand years ago when I was in college, I had friends who thought nothing of camping outside of a ticket window in freezing cold weather for an extended period of time just so that they would not have to pay a surcharge to TicketMaster. I suppose I could say I sympathized with their "fight the power" idea.
But now... I couldn't fathom the idea of wasting my time camping outside of any venue for any reason. Just lemme pay my surcharge and enjoy the show! -- Only SHATNER is Kirk.

I pay it too, however, some of the surcharges are ridiculous... For example, they had (not sure if they still have it, probably do) a surcharge they tacked on if you wanted to print your tickets out at home, on YOUR printer, using YOUR ink and paper. You would think they would give you some sort of discount for doing that since the venue saves resources and so do they (cause you aren't having tickets mailed to you on their paper, etc.).
Thankfully, a lot of smaller, more reasonable ticketing companies have started popping up in recent years. -- Prove it... Save the Internet Time (NTP) service, use the pool.

I thought back since Bush has been President to see if there's any initiatives or programs or policies or laws he's put forward that I really could endorse or line up in support of.
I thought about it for awhile. Then I gave up. Not a single one came to mind! -- "Regulatory capitalism is when companies invest in lawyers, lobbyists, and politicians, instead of plant, people, and customer service." - former FCC Chairman William Kennard (A real FCC Chairman, unlike the current Corporate Spokesperson in the job!)
