Re: Congrats! In my area (Philadelphia area), Comcast Digital Voice is terrible. I know several people that cannot make calls to their friends and or families and Comcast blames it on their vendors and won't do anything to help them. So, for these people, they have to use their cellphones to call family.
Everyone in this area hates Comcast (which is their headquarters). Everyone is switching to Verizon's FIOS Internet and FIOS TV and anyone wanting to go with a larger VOIP provider (for stability, is going with Verizon's VoiceWing.
I have Verizon's FIOS Internet and FIOS TV, but I went with ViaTalk and I don't have any issues calling my friends or family.
Comcast is good at marketing to the un-savvy, just like Microsoft. So, just because Comcast is the #1 VOIP provider doesn't mean they have a high quality product. |
