AV & IS Suites that don't bother users?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend an AV or IS suite that is intelligent enough not to send a taskbar popup when the user is gaming or otherwise using the full window (ie movies)? I'm using old Sygate and NAV2007...I don't think they have settings to queue messages until after I'm out of a game or done with a movie.

Much obliged for reading and replying.

Are you asking for an AV or a suite? Most decent AV's can be set to silent, where only logging is kept. Nag-popups are normally a signature of poor programs that are dying for attention and are desperately trying to prove their worth (suites). If you're smarter than that, stay away from them.

You don't want to be bothered or do you want a good security?

I think the point is, if something pops up, it pretty much means it needs your attention now, not later...

Have you tried out Norton360? It creates the application rules automatically and it is pretty much silent!

There are a lot of AV & suites that you can set to not show a lot of pop ups. Maybe all 0f them.
