Re: [Info] Outlet usage disconnects Modem

Ok, Sorry. I had a emergancy here but am back. Here is the info requested sorry wasnt there earlier.

1. Tweaks test (no firewall on)»/tweakr/block:···a=normal
2. The fastest of the 3 speed tests
Speakeasy test : 848kbps down and 242kbps up
3. A Line Quality test from here. »/testhistory/1263589/5176e
4. Internet connection is Cable and the provider cableonline.com.mx (CableMas) and the Modem is a DCP2100 scientific Atlanta Series (comes with the provider).
5. If DSL, do you use PPPoE connection software? (no idea but I dont think so)
6. N/A
7. operating system is Windows XP Home w SP2 all updates
8. I pay for 1mg service I am not sure of the conversion to kbps
9. No network.
10. no router.
11. How far you are (if using DSL) from the CO (Central Office). Keep in mind that further than 10,000 feet can significantly degrade speeds. Click here to find your distance, or simply ask your ISP" This is wire length, not mileage.

no idea. the office I pay at is aprox 5 miles away and the power pole the line is mainly connected to is 2 block away. with one line to this block with several users. Sorry is not more specific, the site link to hep with that question is currently down.
Also for added info:
Computer is 256 mg with 1.7 gz Celeron Processor HP 503n andd 40 GB HHD
