 Replacing Norton Systemworks

I have been using NSW for many years. I am thinking of replacing it but I am having a tough time in finding a comparable software.
What is out there that is similar to NSW?

If you want to test out the newer editions:
Several trials are available here of NSW and also Norton360.

I'm not sure if there is another comparable suite, particularly as most vendors have moved on to offering security suites not utility suites.

I think the last review that PC Mag did on them was in 2005:

But I seem to remember a thread here on "life after Systemworks" and I settled on several recommended standalone products, many of them free, that work as well if not better:

-- KAV for antivirus
-- Diskeeper Lite for degragmenting
-- Eraser for wiping files
-- CC Cleaner for removing unecessary clutter
-- MS's chkdsk & Hitachi Drive Fitness Test for disk repair
-- Acronis True Image for disk imaging

Hope that is of help.

The beta of the upcoming BitDefender Total Security 2008 package is fairly similar to NSW and N360 in very broad strokes as well. If that's the direction you're looking at, it may be worth a peek.

The BitDefender one is pretty ok. But there still are alot of bugs in it. If you want just one program I would chose Norton360

Just a thought, if you really are wanting a change for the 'Works'. That's what I did and went with TuneUp

»[Update] TuneUp Utilities 2007 v.6.0.2200 Vista Support!

On my Daughters system I have NOD32 to supplement.

KAV for Anti-Virus
Diskkeeper or PerfectDisk for Defragmentation
Tune-Up Utilities 2007 for Clean Up
Ace Utilities for things Tune-Up misses
Acronis True Image for Disk Imaging
