The feds most likely would oppose this next telco consolidation and I also doubt AT&T will even want them. <br><br>Given how the US dollar is beaten down, I expect a foreign entity to take Qwest over. Possibly someone like Deutsche Telekom, the parent of T-Mobile wireless in the US. That would get Deutsche Telekom even more in to the US marketplace.
