1 edit | redundant (sorry) I've noticed some posts that seem similar, so I'm wondering how many people are limping along with this problem? 1) Just using IE and suddenly the pages do not come up. My 802.11g interface says I am still connected with the expected ip address. I cannot even connect to the router's signin page. 2) I tell the wireless card to disable, then enable. Sometimes it pulls an IP address, sometimes it doesn't. If it did, everything is ok again. 3) If the wireless cannot pull and address, I go to a hardwired computer and signin on the router. then go to advanced page and tell the router to reboot. 4) After the reboot completes, the laptop pulls an address and I'm going again. My install was April 3. This problem showed up a few weeks after the install. It's a pain, and it happens randomly. Sometimes I go days with no problem, and sometimes it happens 2 or 3 times in a day. My sons laptop also sees the same thing. When I lose connection, so does he. Only hardwired ethernet computers still work. -- Why is BUSH a Constitution HATER???? |
