Kinda ironic that I informed comcast that I have 3rd party reporting to support my downtime claim and now I can't send any emails for 24 hours. May or may not be related to my complaints today.
USAFA82 : You really have to be a squeaky wheel and stay on them. I had techs come out to my house at least half a dozen times in a three month period before we started getting attention in our area. They've now identified nine problem nodes that they need to work on. Eventually a tech gave me the cell number of his supervisor and I've stayed in contact with him. He's been pretty good about calling me to give updates.

I'm also a very patient person, but that doesn't help in these situations. If you don't continuously call, Comcast figures everything is ok. I told the last two techs that came to my house that the problem would surface again and I'd probably be calling the tech support line that night. That reflects badly on them and I eventually started getting some attention. They finally put a line tech on one of the nodes and documented a lot of noise. After further investigations, they determined the nodes that needed to get worked on. The squeaky wheel analogy works with Comcast.

If you don't get anywhere with the local guys, here's what to do:
Q: How do I contact the Comcast Executive complaint Center?
mnowakow : Greetings All,
I see a lot of people discussing similar issues here.

Has anyone had success convincing Comcast of infrastructure issues? I have family friend in the area experiencing the same sort of difficulties that I have experiencing. Attached you will find the results of my line monitor test courtesy of dslreports.

I've came to dslreports due to the fact I've been experiencing this off and on again service from comcast in "intervals" over the past 2 years. Usually these drops come every couple of months, and last for a few weeks. Then they go away and service is fine. Well for the past month or so, I've really been having issues again. I've had comcast techs to my home 6 time in 2 years all due to my internet. I feel like now I need to go up the latter. I'm really too patient in these situations but I've allowed for local comcast to remedy issue, and they have been unsuccessful.
