| Re: [Connectivity]Constant Downtim | East Coast | Maryland Area You really have to be a squeaky wheel and stay on them. I had techs come out to my house at least half a dozen times in a three month period before we started getting attention in our area. They've now identified nine problem nodes that they need to work on. Eventually a tech gave me the cell number of his supervisor and I've stayed in contact with him. He's been pretty good about calling me to give updates.
I'm also a very patient person, but that doesn't help in these situations. If you don't continuously call, Comcast figures everything is ok. I told the last two techs that came to my house that the problem would surface again and I'd probably be calling the tech support line that night. That reflects badly on them and I eventually started getting some attention. They finally put a line tech on one of the nodes and documented a lot of noise. After further investigations, they determined the nodes that needed to get worked on. The squeaky wheel analogy works with Comcast.
