 AV selection

Hi to all !

Would someone help me to find the best AV available please?

I have try the AVG free edition on my workplace, but doing some testing KAV, have found some viruses that AVG couldn't find. I'm worried because I thought that AVG was able to find everything. Now I'm doubting on which AV should we have installed.

At the moment we are doing testing, but very soon I have to determinate which business AV are we going to buy.

I need some ideas, advice or help on making the correct decision.

Thanks all.

First of all you need to make some criteria for yourself. What is important to you.
Detection rate? CPU usage? free or paid? suite or not?
For business purposes AVG free is illegal. If the cybercops find it here were I live the business is screwed.
For Business purposes I could recommend the following:
* Kaspersky
* Trend Micro
* Sophos

I guess one of the most important thing, is to have each and ever computer on my network healthy. So my first priority, is to have the best detection. Of course, I care about the CPU usage, but I rather have all of the machines free of virus.

I'm looking for a client server AV (Centrally controlled AV), so I guess we can pay for it.

Why don't you take a look over here:
»www.kaspersky.com/business_products
»us.trendmicro.com/us/home/small-business/
»www.sophos.com/products/small-business/

I have experienced them all. I like them all as well.

It seems that Kaspersky is good. A question? Do you think Kaspersky is more effective on virus detection then AVG AV?(comparing them for business purposes)

Sjoeii>>>

Good to know that KAV has an excellent detection.

What I recall is that AVG also have a client version (client-server)
