| How can I cancel TB service?
Hello, I have tried e-mails like you would not believe trying to cancel service with this company. I get no response....NOTHING. I have new phone service with another company and all I want to do is stop my service with TB. Has any one actually tried to cancel? Any results?
Thanks...Joe |

| reply to voodooevil I tried to cancel via email (no answer) and got through via phone but I'm told neither the CS rep nor her supervisor has the authorization to cancel an account. Only a "network engineer" can authorize a cancellation. It's been a week and I'm still waiting for that "network engineer" to call me back with an authorization number. Obviously I don't expect someone making 80K to handle mundane things like this. I've already notified my CC company to expect a dispute if the charge for the next month appears. |

| reply to voodooevil I also un-selected credit card billing. I think I should have left that because as long as I keep records of me trying to contact teleblend I could have disputed the charge. Now I will be getting a bill in the mail I guess. I will not pay it, but I also do not want to destroy a my good credit. One little thing can destroy it. after a few more posts on this topic I will print it for my records.

| reply to voodooevil Im just putting down how I got a refund. After 20 service tickets and 5 calls to customer service. This was the only action that got me results, with a cancellation and a confirmation. If she does earn 80k its not from the success of Teleblend. She was CEO of Inreach Telecom, which changed their name to Nationwide Internet, all part of the happy USA/Unified Network.
Send an email, print it out, then when the CC company asks for proof you tried to make contact Teleblend...there you will have it.
By the way, if anyone printed their confirm/customer number after signing up online..
you can read on it 31 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. proof that you contacted them and a printout of this and you will be well on your way to cancellation.
Your account will still show monthly billing on the cc. Log in and change it, unless you want them billing you again while they get their mess cleaned up. |

| reply to voodooevil CS and Supervisors dont have authorization to cancel, because they are like every other organization, they hire out to call centers like ATS. Im not sure, I think that they use call centers in Arizona. Either way, they guarantee money back in 31 days, but they make sure you cant cancel the account. |

If the Network Engineers are in charge, they cant even keep the freakin servers working, how are they going to handle the billing. |

Anyone successfully do this? |

@comcast.net | reply to voodooevil just remember that the unenroll button just changes billing from CC to paper. It doesnt cancel the account. Make sure and email them stating that you canceled the account and print it before you send, then print a trouble ticket response. |

| Several weeks ago, I sent an email requesting cancellation of one of my accounts, weeks later I received this email, but have never heard from them again:
XXXXX,
I will place your request for cancellation into our cancellation department. The ticket number for your reference is the one listed in the Subject line - 39XXXX. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else in the future.
Thank you,

| reply to voodooevil Just spoke with a CSR who took my info and said it'd be forwarded to the Cancellation Dept. The service will supposedly be turned off in 48 hours. And they'll supposedly email me to confirm. We'll see.
She said she'd never heard of needing a network engineer to cancel service. |

| reply to voodooevil My number is ported from TB to Vonage.
August 13, 2007 Awaiting Number Transfer Authorization August 14, 2007 Carrier Approved Transfer August 16, 2007 Completed LNP Transfer Current Status: Transfer Completed
Vonage sent me the confirmation email which has "You do not need to contact your previous provider to disconnect the line since this was taken care of during your number transfer process to Vonage"
So that means I don't need to call TB to cancel? My TB next billing cycle starts 19th August. I want to avoid upcoming charges from TB . Any help greatly appreciated. |

| reply to voodooevil I just chose the option "Light is flashing on my VoIP BOX" on TB support page and put in the details of cancellation. I have recieved a Ticket number email, but that does not show the description that I entered.
I tried other options as well to create support request with selection as "other" but that does not send any reply with the ticket number. |

| Have you actually gotten through? I just spent 25 minutes on hold TWICE to be hung up on after a loud shrill noise (I called it a croak in another post on here). I will send an email to Lisa too. I had sent an email support request in the day time to cancel my account but got the usual ticket number. That would be my THIRD ticket with no action what so ever.
