Skype has been on solid for me for 2 hours and counting. I am hesitant to say that they worked it out, but there are currently 4,346,006 people online.
I only know about 40 of them.... |

I thought since I upgraded the firmware on my router that it was the source of the issue, but I guess not. Does anybody have the same issue as me...I run Win XP Pro ver. 2002 SP2 with Skype 3.0 installed. I go to try and connect and while it's trying to connect it'll crash. I was just wondering. |

Mine finally logged in, and then lost the connection about 2 minutes later. (11:34am Eastern). 
And for the record, I see there is a new version available, but right now I'm using v3.5.0.202 which has always worked fine in the past, so I doubt it has anything to do with the version number. (For those of you who mentioned it).

As of 11:00am Eastern Time, I am not getting any connection. I don't know if anyone else is having this, but my client will try for about 5 minutes or so and then crash. It might be my version, I don't know. |

mine went down overnight. tried again about 2 hours ago and it did not register. noticed right now that it's green again, with 3,166,875 users online. OOPS! as I typed that previous sentence, it went gray again. noodler must be enjoying this!

Uh, yeah. Now that I am at my office no Skype. Itsallgood though. I got my Vonage softphone and my $10 credit at Gizmo. Skype will be back. I get a tremendous amount of value out of the $8.85 a quarter that I give them. |

It's been working for me since around 11 or so last night. It doesn't tell you how long you have been on so I don't know that it held up overnight, but I made several calls last night and 2 this morning. It's working. |

Is this a problem with the new software? version 3.5.0.202
is what I'm using and right after downloading it recently this problem started for me.
Not sure whether it's that or just an overall system problem affecting their 10 gazillion users now worldwide.
