Re: DIR-655 on Firmware 1.05 - MacBook Pro connection drops

Not sure what would have changed in the 1.05 firmware for the DIR-655 to cause this with your MBP. Myself and MANY others are having problems with the MacBook & MacBook Pro dropping the wireless connection, and it has nothing to do with the DIR-655. This is happening with all different types of wireless routers, including Apple's AirPort router. You can find more than one thread about this on Apple's own support forums. Everyone I've seen mention having this problem started having it right after installing the Mac OS X update which took OS X up to version 10.4.10. Apple's solution for several people who have called AppleCare was to reinstall OS X on their MacBooks. This fixes the problem until they update to 10.4.10, and then the wireless problem starts happening again. Apple has made no official comments so far on this issue.

I can confirm this. I use Macbook Pro and DIR-655, I had no connection problem before updating to 10.4.10, since updating to 10.4.10, the connection drops every 20-30 minutes averagely, and it doesn't re-connect by itself. I thought it might be the DIR-655 problem, but it's not, I have tried several different routers, all the same.
