| How to make a complaint with Verizon?
Apologies if this is not the correct forum for this....
I'm posting this for a friend who suddenly found himself without internet or (at times) phone service today. He has Verizon FIOS for both.
VZ thought it might be the battery in the UPS attached to the FIOS box, and said they would send a tech between 10 AM and 2 PM. Nobody showed up, but in a call to VZ he was told a tech had been there, found no problems, and had "verified with the customer".
A complete lie.
Now the ticket is closed. They claim they cannot send another tech today because of a policy of not sending them out the same day a ticket is closed. So he's scheduled for sometime tomorrow, so they say.
He asked to file a formal complaint, and was told that "nobody here takes complaints".
What can be done in a case of such fantastic customer service as this?
Aside from the obvious answers like "dump Verizon and go with a provider who actually gives a damn about their customers", that is. |
