Fees could REALLY rise quickly with those charges

Users who go above the 100GB limit will pay an additional $1.50 (Canadian) per gigabyte.
If you are very heavy user, at those prices, your monthly cable bill could double pretty easily. Users of Videotron will have to keep a close eye on usage.

At least they price the overage in line with what most places charge for overage transfer. Anything over $1.50/per GB for overage is insane, especially the $5-$10 some providers are charging (it doesn't cost them anywhere NEAR that much).

Yeah it's a great markup when they're paying 5-10 cents per gig.

If 50 dollars buys you 100 gigs and it's 1.50 dollars per gig afterwards they'd have to be losing money on the 50 dollars.

1.50x100 = 150 dollars. I feel for someone who's kids installs a torrent app.

I just got my letter stating that as of October 1, 2007 total bandwith download/upload combined will be 100Gig and 1.50 per additional Gig.

Could someone please write up a list of other ISPs in the Montreal area that offer unlimited bandwidth plans?
