Actually, I've done that; deleted the shortcut in all locations, but here's the kicker. Somehow, on this one I'm working on, the backspace key opens IE. Yeah, somehow, I don't know if it's a default (don't know how you'd change it either), this scanner (possibly other MC9090's) will open up IE if you hit backspace key while on the desktop!
If I could just restrict it such that it wouldn't surf, that'd be awesome. No biggie if the program is there, as long as it's locked from browsing.
Not sure if we have any programming barcodes for these, I guess I'll bug the programmers about that too... Surely, if they could figure out how to remove IE from the older models, these aren't TOO different... |
