 | [ATT CV] Optimum /Webstar modem and DVG-1120M ? I tried using my D-Link DVG-1120M with Optimum online with a Scientific Atlanta / Webstar DPX/EPX2203 VoIP Cable Modem to no avail. Does the VOIP portion of the cable modem cause issues?
I couldn't get to a admin screen of the modem... I don't know if there is one.
I tried the DVG1120M both in front of and behind a router.
Ideas? (I haven't had a change to call CV yet).

 | Flashing Amber. As it was for 'visiting' use, I wasn't planning in re-registering it... I guess I'll call ATT to see if they know, for future reference. |

They sent him a new adapter and power supply. He's with Cablevision. |

 | It isn't defective -- it worked when I brought it back home. I'll call ATT when I get a chance..
Thanks |

Thanks Understood, but my point was that his adapter appeared fine and we could not figure out what was wrong since the adapter had been ok since 2004. What precipitated the failure was when he had new carpeting installed in his bedroom and his wife unplugged the thing. When he plugged it back in a few hours later is when it failed so there is an ever so slightly remote possibility that at some point, the adapter could fail. Hopefully for you it is nothing major - but the good thing is that AT&T is very quick to ship out replacements. My friend had his the following day. Good luck and let us know what AT&T decides is the issue. |
