wtf? can bell refuse to cancel service?

ok so if anyone read my review on bell my horror 4 1/2 month ride with them is getting worse.. these guys refuse to cancel my service because i have a $36 dollar balance with them? are they legally allowed to do this?

I think so yes, just pay the $36 and cancel it.

This is odd...

Even if you owe them money if you want to cancel they have to cancel you. They might require 30 days notice and you might land up owing extra if your on a contract.....

But the bottom line is they are going to be sending a closing statement no matter what so they can include any funds owing in that statement.

Sound to me like an agent who was playing the BS game with you. I would call back and be a little force full with the agent and see what happens. Make sure to be polite but be force full. See what happens.....

u know what i dont care about the extra snag at the end if that is what it takes to get the thorn out of my side yah know. i dont mind paying more if it solves the problem.

No kidding, I know the feeling.......

Your just going to have to call back on Monday and deal with them. Hopefully you an agent who know what there talking about this time around. If not give it 15 minutes and call back. When they start seeing all the calls for cancellation they should eventually clue in. I would think
