upload problems...

hi there! I recently got my fiberlink connection (pppoe). first day was all ok, then I began to not being able to upload only very small files (like mails without any attachment). everything seems ok on my computer, where I use commodo firewall and kaspersky antivirus (also tested with all of them closed and disabled and nothing changes).
can it be a server issue???

thanks in advance!

Do a traceroute to www.dslreports.com and also try a speed test (if you can reach the site).
With the traceroute, see if there are high ping times (anything over 100ms) after the first or second hop (if they show a * , then that means it's a packet loss [unless it's showing 3 of them consecutively]).

If you see poor results from that, call up your ISP. It sounds its something at there end and not yours.

Remember to scrub out on pppoe0 max-mss 1440 ... *thumbs up*

thank you for your reply! I finally managed to resolve this thing. the culprit was my firewall software (commodo)... now I use only kaspersky internet security and everything is ok.
