Virgin Mobile. Pay-As-You-Go. Just throw money at the phone($20) every three months and I'm good to go! -- Think outside the Fox... Opera |

| I used to have a T-mobile post paid account with like 350 min.. but I got pissed because for one I never talk that long on the phone period so my $29 bill after taxes and T-zones was like $50ish a month.. I was like no way.. I use T-mobile to go.. and I talk a lot on my VOIP line. |

Virgin Mobile isn't minutes... it's money. I can bu yringtones, background pics, screensavers... whatever!
On my plan, $0.18 per minute ANYTIME. I can change that to a monthly charge and get calls for $0.10... or any one of the other monthly plans.
ETF? No! Toss the phone or just never Top it up and that's that!
*FOR ME* this was the best out there. -- Think outside the Fox... Opera |

I have t-mobile prepaid and 1000 minutes would last me waaaaaaaay longer than a year if they didn't expire. how many minutes does virgin give you for $20 dadkins? -- You can never be too rich, too thin or have too much Bandwidth |

Currently, calls cost me $0.18 ANYTIME - 24/7 I can make that $0.10 if I want to change plans... but for as little as I use a phone... $0.18 anytime is ok.
The money doesn't expire as long as you "Top Up" every three months with $20(or more).
Works out well here. -- Think outside the Fox... Opera |

ssj4androidRedefining Reality join:2002-04-14 Wyoming, MI | reply to dadkins I hardly use it, so I pretty much always end up running into the 3 month limit rather than out of money. Still, other companies require you to put in money every 60 days and charge more per minute. Warning, they block ringtone and application downloads that are not from them if you buy their internet plan. I didn't know this before purchasing, but it does state on their site that it's not possible. |

I'll burn the money on ringtones or internet... or just text it all away(that's alot of texting, but hey!) -- Think outside the Fox... Opera |

| reply to dadkins Or, you can get the SERO plan, hehheheh. I LOVE my service. I hear people say "Sprint sucks" all the time, but I love them. Unlimited text messages, 500 anytime minutes, fair and flexible plan, unlimited after 7pm and weekends, and unlimited web access without eating up minutes, no "per kb" charge. If I go over on my minutes, I only pay $5 for an additional 300 minutes... I like it, because I have yet to go over on usage. I have great coverage, and I am usually averaging about 400 minutes during anytime minutes, and 1100 on nights and weekends. about 600 text messages. Lord knows what my data usage is, but it's alot... I can only speak for what works for me, and Verizon was close to $76 a month for 450 anytime, 9pm nights and weekends, 500 text, and unlimited data. I am paying 1/3rd the cost of my Verizon phone. I DO miss my Verizon PHONE, but mostly because it had great sound. My Motorola Q has good sound too, but not as much midrange as my LG VX8300. And the pictures my VX8300 took were better. I am too cheap to buy a digital camera, so I tote the VX8300 with me when I need a camera, lol. There was also a few things I could do with my VX8300 that I can't with my Q, one of which is hack the dang thing. It was super easy to hack the LG. -- SIPPhone/Gizmo # 17476200648 / PIMPNET Chatline / Ran by Asterisk & Slackware 10.1. |
