BPL on Steroids

I like how when a power company finally gets a clue about how to do broadband on the power line, the Hams shut up and others do the bashing. As long as the power companies stayed with a loser technology, then it was ok, but when they start doing what they should have done 10 years ago instead of messing around with RF on big long antennas, NOW the people who advocate monopoly control do not like the power companies getting involved. This actually will work out further out into the boonies than the old BPL garbage.

And a side note, this FTTH that EPB is trying to do will not only screw the monopolies, but it also will give them (EPB) more control over power meters and infrastructure, which will save money as well as make money. That might be good for the consumer, and it might be bad.
