Sometimes there's a loophole

There was a loophole for Nextel customers, allowing them to migrate (not port) their account over to Boost Mobile's prepaid service without incurring an ETF.
Once you were on Boost, you could port out to another carrier or let your account be canceled after 90 days of inactivity.
I took advantage of this two months ago and saved myself $200.
Unfortunately, I think they recently plugged this loophole.
